Philips Norelco Turbo Vacuum Stubble Tri

Like all beard trimmers, it has multiple settings, is chargeable, and does what all other upscale trimmers do. BUT, what sets this one apart from the myriad of other brands, is that all the hair trimmed is vacuumed up into a small area of the trimmer. It eliminates hair spreading on the floor and counter top. Plus, it's easy to empty, and easy to take apart for a complete cleaning when needed. One full charge lasts a minimum of four or five full beard trimmings. If you remove the beard length guide, you can also use the blades to to trim hair around the ears and those hairs will still be vacuumed into the same holder. This is my second trimmer. The first one lasted me about six years before I dropped and broke it. I was very happy to find Phillips Norelco still made the trimmer. I can honestly recommend this Vacuum Trimmer with Turbo Boost to all men with a beard.

This is the 2nd phillip norelco beardtrimmer I have purchased. I have only had it a month and so far it has worked well. I have seen bad comments about the vacuum door breaking easy and can see how that could happen and once it does the trimmer probably will not work at all because the door cannot be replaced. The bad thing I am noting so far is that from where I studied new beard trimmers I saw this model came with a bag but once I ordered it and received it it did not come with a carry bag making it an issue to store with the charger and brush. The 1st beardtrimmer I purchased has lasted about 8 years before battery finally stopped holding charge. It did come with a carry bag and worked out great. It did not have a door for the vacuum area but a slide on/off cover. The 1st philnorelco trimmer has lasted and worked very well so hopefully this new one will do the same, time will tell. I just wish it had a carry bag like comparison studies showed it did.

this was my first beard trimmer ever, so I had nothing to compare it to. For better or worse. I liked the ease of use and the end result. What I didn't fancy at all was the ergonomics of the design. Leaves a lot to be desired. Do I trim down, do I trim up, either way it was awkward as I would like something more contoured to suit the shape of the human skull

I've enjoyed this product from day one. (About 3 months). The easy measuring device attached to the shaver makes it so easy to keep the same length of my beard without worry. The vacuum, build into the shaver cleans up 95% of all the shavings.. If I put it on power boost (a bit noisy) I'm sure it would take it all. The only negative I can see is the cleaning.. It would be perfect if it was made waterproof, then it would be perfect for sure. Instead the shaving collect in a spot where it is a bit of a job to clean properly. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Only wish that they would sell replacement blades for this one... because the performance is great. If I find replacement blades, then this gets five stars across the board. Whisper quiet, vacuum feature actually does work quite well... and these are used as whole body trimmers, not just for my face, and I find very little hair on the floor when I am done trimming. Definite recommend for men who need a durable trimmer that leaves little mess.
