Small but very effective! Used in one guest room to get rid of some mosquitoes and caught surprising number of gnats, etc. Would be perfect in a tent - especially with the added option to use as a light.

The online description did not match well the description available on product packaging. There should be a clear mention somewhere that this product is to be used outdoor only because it uses an octenol lure. Octenol is a chemical that should not used indoors. We returned the item to exchange it with a product safe to use indoors.

I have been testing out the Portable Zapper and Accent Light to give my opinion of it's use. This is great for you RV, tent or screened in porch! Even with screens and in closed in places like screened porches, eventually some bugs get in from people going in and out. This will efficiently take care of any of those stray intruders. It is small so it doesn't take up valuable space. I love that is USB charged, so is cordless during use. I don't have a computer all the time to charge from, but I do have an adapter for a regular wall outlet- it works great. It is silent, except when it zaps something. The night light is just enough to make your way around in the dark. Now I would not expect this little thing to clear my yard, or be 100% effective out in your yard at your picnic table, it's not made for that kind of coverage. But it definitely has performed well for my use case.

I charged it up like the directions suggested and it lasted all night and then some! I find it best to use in personal spaces like bedrooms, etc. I am particularly sensitive to mosquitoes, so in Spring and Summer, it eases my mind to put it on my nightstand. I also tried it in the kitchen area for flies. It is discrete and I just tip the dead insect parts into the trash can. I'm thinking it would also be perfect in a tent - I'll have to try that. The accent light is a perfect nightlight, and the zapper-only part doesn't put off hardly any light so it won't keep you awake. The charging cord is short, but it's a common style (USB to mini USB) that we all have sitting in a junk drawer.
