it works but very disappointed on pioneer quality in general for this stereo, feels like i bought a 20 dollars boss stereo, bluetooth works and has some sound settings but i had many pioneer stereos in the past but this one just feels like something i would buy from wish.

Not a bad budget upgrade. I bought this to replace a factory cassette/6 disc changer combo in a new-to-me 2001 Ford Expedition with Mach Audio. Along with the proper Metra dash kit and a Scosche wiring harness adapter install was uneventful (make your own Ford radio removal tools out of coat hanger btw). For those that are still unsure, the factory radio runs the door speakers, there is no separate amp for those. As for the Pioneer, once it powered up, it went into a brief setup wizard. Everything worked, and pushes the factory door speakers better than the factory radio. Bluetooth connected right away, sounds great. Phone calls with the built-in microphone are clear also, no complaints from anyone I've talked to over the stereo. Wish there were a little more as far as specs on WalMart's site to help make a more informed decision, but not Pioneer' fault. The one negative I will mention is the very small gauge wires in the radio's harness. It was even smaller than the Scosche adapter harness's wiring. Made it a tad easier to solder and I realize it's only pushing around 20wpc but c'mon. All in all, I'd buy it again and plan to make use of the RCA pre-amp outputs to replace the factory subwoofer here soon. Don't be scared to give it a shot if it fits your needs.
