Good product
This flash drive worked well without issues. Came formatted in FAT32, but reformatted easily.
Very solid little drive so far. The small form factor is perfect for adding data storage capacity to computers without having a big USB stick hanging off all the time. A lot reviews mentioned this drive getting too hot, having poor data tx rates, and having less than advertised storage. I have not personally found these to be problems. First, this PNY drive runs way cooler than my SanDisk drive of the same size. Any flash drive is going to get pretty warm when being actively transferred to/from, but I do notice this one runs hotter than usual when plugged into a hub rather than directly to the computer/tv. Second, all storage devices have less usable space than the number of GB they're rated at. This PNY is 256GB but has 248GB usable space - this is very normal due to file overhead, file system format, etc. Third thing, transfer speed has not been an issue. I haven't actually clocked it, but it's not noticeably slower than my other USB3.0 devices. Also, the tx speed depends on a lot more than the speed of the flash drive itself. If the computer is a little older it may not have USB3.0 speed capability, using a USB hub will often bottleneck this as well - also may just have to tweak the file system and device settings on the computer and flash drive to optimize. If you use a Mac for instance, reformat this drive as APFS instead of leaving it FAT32 and you'll find that your transfer speeds improve greatly because they speak the same language. Very pleased with drive, would recommend.
I got this PNY 128GB Elite-X Fit USB 3.0 flash drive. I like the amount of storage it offers in such a small piece. I do wish that it was a little bigger, outwardly, I am afraid I may lose it in my big purse or bag. It is a very small flash drive. There is an opening at the end, where you put a tie or hook something on the end of it to make it more noticeable. Overall, I am happy with this flash drive.
This flash drive is small but it is powerful. I was able to download a very large photo file in seconds. I am very pleased with this tiny item. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a flash drive that will work in a hurry. Good things come in small packages.
