I use this for picture and video storage. I'm not constantly uploading or downloading files off it. I find it to be amazingly priced for the amount of space. I believe when I plugged it in it read 57GB capacity so not exact, but still far better than what I'm used to with room to grow. I do think the lid is slightly flimsy. I tried sliding the lid off at first and was scared I almost broke it. Have never had errors or lost anything in the few months now I've been using it.
