POWEROWL Rechargeable AA Batteries 16 Pack NiMH 1.2V 2800mAh Double a Batteries

I purchased my first set of Powerowl AA batteries about 18 months ago and could not be more happy with my purchase. I am a mother of a toddler boy and we use batteries in pretty much every toy, so you can imagine how much money we had to spend on all of those regular batteries. Plus, if the regular batteries do not get recycled properly they produce a lot of pollution. With rechargeable batteries, once the battery dies, you put it in charger and in a couple hours it is good as new. These will save you a lot of money on the long run.

Looking for a higher capacity of the batteries and this one happens to jump on the list; finding out that for such solid capacity at such price is pretty sweet, when you need remote electronics to keep functional at long hours. Do a little math on my remote mouse: if I use the remote mouse for 40 hours every week, I will only need to change the battery once a month, or even on a longer basis. That is, consistent battery replacing problems can be left behind with this great deal.

Great product, we have switched to all rechargeable batteries for the ever growing list of things that take AA and AAA batteries. These have worked great. I did have one that seemed to stop taking a charge. I reached out to the suppler and they covered a new one, never missing a beat. Great customer service.

I love these rechargeables because I find that they are not only long lasting batteries, but they also have a very slightly narrower shape than other double AAs. This is useful, for instance, in candles where the batteries need to be dropped into a tight fitting side-by-side space. These are perfect because you don’t have have to use force to jam the batteries into the space in order to insert the small plastic tabbed “door” on top of the battery housing (and then wonder how you’re going to possibly get those batteries out). I don’t know if this narrow design was on purpose or by accident, but it’s great!

Disappointed by the performance of the batteries. They’re supposed to be rated for 2,800mAh but my old rechargeable energizer batteries 2,300mAh (Nickel metal hydride) last longer. I used the same charger to charge both (charger is rated to charge nickel metal hydride) Shame; they look and feel nicer than any other battery on the market. Their quality is lacking however unfortunately.
