Pucci Trail Blazer Wood Swing Set-7 Play Areas

When I bought this item it had to be delivered to my house and got it 2days before I needed it. When it arrived some of the boards had cracks in them but I couldn't send them back because I really needed this swing set to be set up within 2 days. So if you can get it site to store check the boards before you leave the store or as soon as you get home. When we started setting it up the instructions were not clear some of the pictures didn't even match to what we had. It took a whole day to set up. We didn't use the boards to make the picnic table because it wasn't enough space for the kids to play under there. Once it was finished we had 15 - 20 kids playing on it, so its pretty sturdy. We like this for our kids and hope it lasts until they out grow it.

It is a nice swing set for the kids to play on. But there are some issues that i recommend changing. First, I would offer it to come preassembly. Second, rewrite the directions to follow. Third, labels all peices of wood. And finally, offer site to store since it comes in a box. Charging 135.00 is a bit much especially when it cost 300.00 plus sales tax. It took 4 of us 5 1/2 hours to put together. We spent the first 1 1/2 hours labeling all wood peices. The directions say only 2 person job, but i highly recommend at least 3 people to help out. All in all i would recommend it others, but they better set aside a full day work on it.

I am glad I purchased this playset for my 15mo old. For $300 this is the best product you will find PERIOD. I can afford much more but for this same set I was going to spend $800-$1500 easy. Those other sets may have harder wood but you would not know until you buy it. I read almost every review on this set and it prepared me big time. I recieved it in about a week. I restained all wood twice with a five year protectant because my set was going to be placed on grass that would be watered daily. This took me 2 hours. My wife labeled every piece with the instructions that took her an hour. On saturday we started putting it together at 10am and we were done by 6pm. Word of advise as mentioned in other reviews use two drills one for predrilling and one for screwing that helped me very much. At least one drill should be electric. The instructions are very good. When we were done it looked really nice and I am glad I stained all the wood several times. Have fun with it and be patient but if you labeled everything it is just like putting a puzzle together where you know where every piece goes. In reference to the table that everyone says was too high all you have to do is modify it. You can adjust the height of both the seat and the table or you can just make it into a sand box like other owners have done. Its not as big a deal as many of the reviewers made it out to be. In the end I think I will buy another for my home this one is at My inlaws home who watches maya during the day.

We absolutely love this swing set. I bought it for my 2 year old daughter and she has so much fun. Tip, you should stain the wood before you build ... which can take some time. Usually the wood will need 2 coats and time to dry in between. My husband is very handy, so it took about 8 hours to build. Be sure to take inventory of parts and organize everything before you start. We choose to not use the picnic table and are just filling it with sand instead. Due to space limitations, we switched the location of the climbing wall and slide and it worked out great. I recommend this swing set.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the Trail Blazer Swingset. We did sort and label all of the lumber before assembly. We also assigned numbers to the hardware and numbered the bags of hardware so we could keep all of the hardware in order and weren't having to sort through 30 bags of bolts, screws, washers, nuts, etc. I'm guessing that the people that thought the boards were not predrilled correctly or not at all did not sort the lumber. There are a number of boards that are the same length, so you can't just go by length, you have to also look at the number of predrilled holes and the location of those holes to choose the correct board. I would recommend having two drills as someone else mentioned. We only have one and got tired of switching the drill bit out for the phillips screwdriver attachment, so we hand tightened a lot of screws. It probably took us 12-14 hours to put together (this includes sorting/labeling time), but this is the first project of this magnitude that we've ever tried. Our 4 1/2 year old son loves it and has been outside on the swingset more than he has been inside since we got it put together. We live in Arizona, so we are wondering how it will weather. Even though it comes presealed, we plan on sealing it again before the winter heat and again before the winter rains.
