Rechargeable Lead Acid Replacement Battery Cartridge #124 for Select APC Back-Up Systems

I've had my old APC 1500VA UPS for ages and this makes the second or third time I've replaced its batteries. These work fine and definitely have a decent enough run time, but their calculated/expected run time after running a self test is about 20% lower than the last set I ordered directly from Schneider Electric (APC), which makes me wonder if this unit spent a few years sitting in a warehouse before it got to me. Anyway, it's a good product for a reasonable price.

When i got the battery low alert on my machine, i turned the machine off. When the new batteries arrived 5 days later, when i took the old batteries out, they were quite warm. They did not cool off for the remaining days bwfore disposal. Fire hazzard? New batteries though solved the issue at hand.

Excellent, modular , slide in and out, was so easy to install replacement. The first battery lasted us about seven years. This backup keeps my wifi Up and running through many brown outs, what more could you want. During full outages we have almost two hours of cable tv with it.

Exact replacement for my APC Back-UPS 1500. I originally purchased two of these UPS units a little over 5 years ago. This unit sits inside a warm cabinet while the other one, which is still sporting its original battery, is in a cooler location and working fine. I'm satisfied with the battery life of these units. Battery replacement was easy both in terms of procurement and replacement.
