Remington RM4620 Outlaw 46cc 2-Cycle 20-Inch Gas Chainsaw

After reading all of the great reviews, I bought one of these saws last year. Huge Mistake. Piece of crap. Barely cuts through any tree larger than a twig, even after changing chains three times. leaks an extraordinary amount of bar oil. Separately, the bar oil cap won't tighten, as though it's rounded out. Heavy and cumbersome to use. I have no idea why there have been so many positive reviews, because that just has not been my experience. I have barely used this thing because it just isn't worth the frustration. Am now looking to replace it with another 20".

I was so happy when this showed up at my front door. I have needed one for the longest time now. I have 3 different properties on the water that a lot of the treet have overtaken the areas that we need to be clear. This was a little heavier than I would like, but it wasn't too bad. It made my projects a million times easier and so much quicker! It was easy to handle and control, easy to start up and just plain perfect for all of the jobs/projects that I have coming up. We just bought a house on 4 acres and need a lot of trees cleared. This chainsaw does pretty well and love the case it comes in. The case is very sturdy and makes it easy to store. As to the chainsaw....it did well. It isn't too big and bulky or too heavy. It did have a few issues trying to start it but it did start just took a few times. It leaks oil a bit when sitting but if you are careful where you place it not a huge issue. Stock chain is "ok" but not great. Overall gets the job done and a decent chainsaw for simple jobs. I use this for light trimming around the house, nothing extremely large or heavy cutting. For what I need it for it is actually a little overkill. all in all, I am very happy with it and would make this purchase again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This chainsaw is powerful, stable, and easy to handle. It starts easily. The case is a very nice addition!! The volume seems to be consistent with other chainsaw brands of this size, however, no ear muffs were used. I found it to be sturdy and well constructed. I live in the south, with hurricane possibilities every year. I like the fact that I have a great chainsaw on hand if (hope not) I need it.
