Renogy - 100A MPPT Charge Controller - Black

Does a great job , everything I expected and more , keeps my 4, 100 amp hr toped off , wish I would of gotten a 60 instead of the 40, newbie at solar , but my 400 watt system, worked great when we had 2 black outs, ran the refrigerator and 55 in big screen, all on a 1000 watt renogy inverter, Thanks for a great job no problems, with anything I've purchased from renogy

This is a fantastic solar controller. The upgrade to 60 amps is well worth the extra money. My battery charge time improved from eight hours (average Oregon weather) to four hours. A couple of how to videos will assist you with navigating the control panel and have you collecting solar power in no time.

Easy to install, accurate, and reliable so far (only been using it for 3 days). Im only running one panel to a series and parrell tied two battery system. Charges well, easy to program and understand. I will have to disconnect the load from the load terminals of the charge controller only because I charge the batteries in parnell but have a SPDT relay to change the bank from parrell to series (24v) upon operation.

The charge controller was an easy install in my prewired for solar Winnebago Micro Minnie. For convenience you should add a DC circuit breaker to be able to disconnect the solar when you are removing batteries for service. No solar can be connected if it's not connected to a battery. I recommend the bluetooth option as it makes monitoring super easy.

Features that I appreciate: local digital display, BT-2 interface for bluetooth functionality, passive cooling (no fans to fail), voltage sampling (independent voltage input directly from the battery, allows accurate voltage independent of the charging cables, avoids I squared R loss voltage discrepancies at high current rates over battery charging cables 4 awg wire.
