We use this onen to reheat frozen meals prepared in advance while traveling on the road in our Class B. Works flawlessly. No better smell than when our meal begins circulating through the camper. Meals could be cooked in it from scratch. Frozen grocery store meals can be cooked, as well. Perfect size for 2 people. Recommended.
I gave this device three chances to work as advertised. Each time it only heated my food to just barely above lukewarm. Each time I gave it subsequently longer time to heat. The first time I tried it, I gave it 20 minutes to heat up a can of Raviolis. That was the amount of time reviews had stated it would take to heat room temperature canned food. The third time I gave the unit just over an hour and still the food was heated only to just above lukewarm. However, on the the third try, the unit did manage to burn my finger with hot molten plastic when I maneuvered it towards me in order to check my food. The heating plate had melted through the back of the unit. This device is unsafe.
Okay. This little oven cooked just as expected. However...the first trip out after enjoying our sausage dogs, the plug fell apart. It is now unusable. Kind of expensive for one use. What terrible quality control! I will probably return it.
I gave this unit three chances to work. While trying to heat up room temperature soup and stew, the unit would achieve nothing better than just above lukewarm temperature. On the third attempt, as I was picking up the unit and turning it towards me to check how the food was heating, my finger was burned by hot, molten plastic. The heating element had apparently melted through the back of the unit. This thing is a dangerous safety and fire hazard.
Husband uses it to heat his lunch while working in the oilfield. Its great! I pack his lunch in an aluminum tray, he throws it in about 45min-1hr before lunch and it gets HOT! Brings the tray back and this stove stays clean! Would recommend! Way better than having a cold lunch everyday
