Rochester Stages Crib - Cherry

I had to replace my recalled crib and I really like this crib now. I was upset because I loved the crib that was recalled but this one is very nice. Looks great in my daughter's bedroom.

My baby just turned 1, so she has been in this crib for about 10 months. The drop side rail pieces are plastic, and have broken twice (2 different pieces). The first break occurred when she was very young, and had hardly even used the drop side rail. I was looking forward to a quality bed, and am very disappointed. This is supposed to last through many years - 3 stages - but it can't even make it through the first stage! I would recommend buying a different crib.

I ordered the crib over 4 weeks ago. Walmart shipped it to me extremely fast (within a week). One of the panels is defective so I called the manufacturer to be sent a replacement part. I was told I would receive the item in 10-15 days. It's been over a month! The item has not even been shipped. I am unable to return it because I do not have the box anymore so I am stuck with a defective crib.

I seen this bed online and just had to had it so i ordered it. It got here pritty quike it got here in like 5 day i thought it would take forever doing the sit-to-store but it did'nt then i got it home and put it together my self and i'm 7 and a half months preganat and conceitered a high risk and i had noproblem at all the pieces are no very heavey all the piece's came with the bed even the toddler rails it was not scrached or damaged in any way and it looks wonderful now we are just waiting for our little girl to get here to sleep in it. i would buy it again and wish that they had this bed when my 3 boys were babys.

Crib did come in a little scuffed, but was able to make the worst part face the wall. Everything works fine. Only other issue was that the cherry crib didn't quite match the cherry dresser I bought. Crib is more brown and dress is more red/cherry. Other than that, crib looks nice, seems sturdy, did not take long to put up. Baby was born this morning, so we'll see how he likes it soon.
