Will cut anything from Cardboard to Fabric with no effort. Highly recommend as a cutting tool to have around the house or office.

I used it one day & it was miraculos in cutting carpet but when I tried to recharge it NO GOOD. IT WOULD NOT HOLD A CHARGE TO CUT A PIECE OF PAPER I charged it for 24 hours book read 3-5 hours for recharge. I had to cut the rest of the carpet with a carpet knife. I bought this item to replace the knife as my age causes pain in joints. I am taking it back to the store for refund.

I have had this one year and three months. It has been a great tool and did exactly what I needed it to do. However, while using it recently the battery died and when I tried to recharge it the charging indicator light wouldn't come on. The battery pack died. It comes with a 2 year warranty but it doesn't cover the battery pack. The price when I bought it made it worthwhile, but I did expect a longer life from the battery. I didn't use it that often and when I did it was used only to cut cardboard. I may purchase another one, but not sure I want to have to buy one every year or so. I do recommend it but hope your battery lasts longer than mine did.

I really like how easy it is to use this tool, and it come in real handy opening plastic containers. It takes less time and is safer than opening things with a knife or scissors. The nice thing is that the Safety switch is on top right where your thumb rest. That makes it so much easier to us, plus the lever that runs the tool runs the length of the tool. So it is really simple to use. Plus I also like the self-sharping blade so that you can get a lot of uses out of this tool. The batter last a really good length of time, which is what I except from a lithium battery. With it weighing in at one pound it's light enough for my wife to use with her bad back. The only down side I see is that it take 3- 5 hours to charge. After that it runs a really good length of time before it needs to be recharged. It has a light that lets you know when it's done charging so that is really nice thing to have. It also seems to be very durable and well built.
