Royal 29171Y 100X 10-Sheet Crosscut Shredder

I'm so happy that I got this appliance. My husband tends to keep stuff in piles for shredding for our bank but never goes. He now shreds the papers at home. Very quiet too.

It is too flimsy. I wish I had not bought it.

Would not recommend it if you have a lot of papers to shred. It heats up right away and does not take 10 sheets like it specifies. You have to shred 2 papers at a time and let it cool off, it will stop working if it heats up.

Good shredder for the price, it has no problem doing the 10 sheets. It does struggle a bit with 10 sheets, but not much, it sounds like it has a strong motor, and is well made. The only complaint I really have is the slot where you feed the paper it covered in a way that if the papers aren't flat and if any of the corners are bent, then feeding them is a bit of a problem. Easy fix though, just fold the paper in half and feed the folded part in first. All in all, good shredder for the price. I'm happy with my purchase and have recommend it to a friend.

The pull out basket is real helpful and requires little effort to use.
