Safety 1st Cabinet Locks are well made products. They are made of heavy plastic that hold up well. They slide easily and are easy to use. The only downside is they didn't fit on the cabinets I was hoping to use them for. Our bathroom cabinets are very close together, the knobs are probably an inch apart. The locks did not fit on these knobs. They were too close together. It would be nice to be able to snug up the lock closer. Despite that I would reccomend these!

These give you peace of mind. Our baby can finally walk and does not need or want our full time attention. There is freedom in that thought except now all I can think about are the dangers lurking around every corner. One of the biggest worries are the things in the cabinets such as cleaners and chemicals. My husband installed two different cabinet locks to keep the baby out and they have proven difficult for the adults to operate ... and I won't even talk about the pain they were to install. These were easy least! No install ... just push the buttons, slide the bracket down and just like that, done! Easy to get off and on and confident that our child can not unlock them. Thank you Safety 1st!

Our first use of this product was on our refrigerator. We were having problems with our children waking up early and eating cookies out of the fridge before breakfast. After we put the lock on, they weren't able to figure it out and it worked well. The lock feels lightweight and a little cheap, however it works well and we've had no issues with it breaking, even with multiple attempts from our children to break in. We decided the second lock should go on our cabinets. I was glad the package came with 3 so we could use them in a few different locations. We attached it to our cabinet and our almost one year old was not able to get in! What I love about these locks is that there is nothing to install on your cabinets or furniture so you don't have to worry about ruining anything. Other locks I've tried require you to stick it with adhesive which I'm not comfortable with in a rental. I like that you can take it off easily and put it away when guests are there. My only complaint is that you have to use it with two handles because of the way it is constructed. If you have a drawer with a pull-out handle, this will not work and you will probably need something with adhesive. That being said, this is a great product that does the job and my older children haven't messed with it!

So, the Safety 1st Cabinet Slide Lock 3 pk is better quality than any other brand I have tried. They are a must have if you have a crawler or a toddler and have to keep them out of the dangerous chemicals in your home. Safety 1st! They are super easy to use. Just hook them between your cabinet handles and slide the latch. They can not be slid with little hands. I would recommend this product to everyone with small children in the home.

The Safety 1st cabinet slide locks are great! I use them on my lower kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity to keep my very curious tiny humans (ages 2 and 3) out of the cabinets. The cabinet slide locks are easy to remove with one hand, but will need two hands to get back on. The long rails with teeth seem a little flimsy and could possibly snap over time, but for now they are great! When they're on, there's a little bit of play, but the cabinet doors don't open. I have a similar set from a different brand, and my kids are able to pull that one off because it isn't tight or strong enough. I will say that the plastic on the Safety 1st set is definitely stronger than the similar set I have. The Safety 1st set hasn't been pulled off yet though! And my smarty pants 3 year old son hasn't figured out how to undo it yet! He does like to help put it on though. That's how easy it is! I also really like these cabinet slide locks because I don't have to drill into the cabinets!
