Santa's Train Jumbo Express

It fits nicely around a large tree and was great fun for the kids.

I purchased this as a surprise for Christmas morning around the tree...disappointed. I set it up the night before to test it. It goes together easy enough, it is fairly simple but then you turn it on and it was a disaster. Only the first car has real moving wheels, it more or less drags the other cars along...but not really, it is so fast and such a tight track that it fails to bring the other cars along with it around the curves. They immediately fall off the track while the locomotive loudly makes it way around by itself. The immitation smoke has a very strong chemical burning smell, and this feature can't be turn off. It also, says that once this liquid runs out it won't smoke anymore and can't be refilled so who knows how long that lasts. I am returning it. Even for the price it isn't worth one working car.

Durable enough to be "gently" handled by a 3yo boy. Very Loud but adds to the ambiance of a child's Christmas. Wish it had a better smoke option but kids had fun and for the price I didn't have to worry.

This set looks colorful around our tree. The control switch is on the engine's right side, so we found it's best that the train run from our left to our right. The speed of this set is so fast that it would be difficult to put your fingers on the control switch without the aid of good eyesight. The choo choo sound is loud. Smoke works fine. Kids would love this. Older kids would not.
