This is my first purchase through the site-to-store. When I got my confirmation email I was a little disappointed to find it may take up to two weeks! But, a few days later when I checked the "tracker" it turned out my purchase was scheduled to be at the store just over one week from when I submitted my purchase. (Purchaed April 28th, could pick up May 5th) Once I received my email to pick it up I did so. It was nicely packaged with cardboard on all edges for protection and wrapped in heavy saran wrap. Following the directions to put it together was really easy! All you needed was a hammer and screw driver. The only thing I didn't like was the back looked like it may have been cut about 1/2" too much; also the back piece is really thin so there's not much support. So I cut a piece of wood and put it on the back of the back piece; and it works great! I use my shelf for only DVD's; it will fit five shelves nicely!
Although this product arrived late (we were notified of this by email) it was worth the wait. It's a great piece to store CDs, does not look 'cheap' and blends right in with the rest of the room, keeping the clutter that was our CDs in a nice neat orderly fashion.
This tower is really SMALL! I realize that there are dimensions to read. I was mainly concerned with width...so I obviously overlooked the rest. But still, part of the edges were missing their black finish-no matter which way you put it together. My husband put it together and he's like mister handy manny himself. We made it work and it didn't break the bank, it just wasn't what I expected!
This fit my CD's and DVD perfectly, and doesn't look cheap. It is shorter than I thought, but still works well next to the TV for my son's video games. It is very functional, and can be used in a bedroom, den, office or living room as well. I plan on getting a few more.
This was very easy to assemble. We have ours in the bedroom on carpet against the wall, and noticed that the top leans a bit away from the wall. It's definitely stable, though, so it's no concern, just an observation. The color looks good with all our furniture, too! We'll be buying a bigger one soon, as ours is already almost full.
