Sauder Five-Shelf Bookcase, Matte Black Finish

STURDY, FURNITURE THAT I NEEDED FOR ADDITONAL STORAGE IN MY NEW APARTMENT. IT WAS SPACE EFFICIENT, AS WELL AS ATTRACTIVE. EASY TO GO ALONG WITH ANY DECORUM. I PLACED IT IN MY BEDROOM AND PUT AN ADDITIONAL MICRO STERO ON IT TO ENJOY MUSIC WITH QUALITY SOUND IN THE SPEAKERS THAT WERE PLACED THERE ALSO. I FOUND I STILL HAD ENOUGH ROOM WITHOUT THE APPEARANCE OF CLUTTER FOR BOOKS AND PHOTOS.

I've had this for two years now. It is a great book case. Very sturdy! I didn't think it would be. However, Be careful when moving it. You definitely want to separate it into 2 pieces when moving. I broke it by trying to move it myself while it was in one piece. I still have it, but I had to take the top part off. The bottom half is perfect- you'd think it was meant to be that size!

this is a great product. it looks great in my room, i originally bought one and a week later bought another one. they look a lot more expensive then they really are. my only complaint is that they do not offer the site to store and the shipping is an additional $20 per item. and the black shows every drop of dust. but overall looks good!

FOr the price, these shelves are just an excellent value. They do not look cheap and are as sturdy as more expensive shelving. We have cherry wood shelves in our library/office and needed to expand our shelving. When I bought these particular shelves, buying more of our matching cherry shelves wasn't an option-- I would have had to wait. Meanwhile, the books were piling up. I bought two of these to flank the corner. they aren't next to the other shelves, and since all the furniture is dark, they don't look out of place. They do the job! These are easy to put together. I put both sets (I bought two) together within an hour and a half. They look great. I couldn't be happier.

Its a nice shelf and easy to build. It is a little heavy for particle wood. But, worth its price I'd say.
