Sauder Harbor View Lateral File Cabinet, Antiqued White Finish

I needed a side table top with open storage plus a file storage drawer all fitting to my left. I sit at at Sauder computer desk with hutch. The combination is absolutely perfect. . . plus each was available in the same finish! The assembly, while never perfect due to space available to assemble. went well. Your system of camlocks and your engineering and design have made truly remarkable improvements over the years. One such improvement is how you package all the hardware. All parts csre contained within their own sealed segment of a durable bubble wrap of sorts. Each bubble is labeled and sealed. Gone are the days of dumping all g hardware on the floor and separating them into unique piles. Ine piece of bubble wrap can be set nearby and when you na particular part, you open the appropriate bubble storage with a knife/scissors and go! Having a simple. durable storage space for every assembly component exponentially improves the assembly process!

We are using this unit to set a printer on and store paper and other office items in. As usual this Sauder item is of good quality and the finishes are very appealing. We now have five desks and three book shelves in Salt Oak finish [which is our favorite finish. We have used Sauder products now for over twenty years for different business uses and have never been dissatisfied with any item as far as looks, usability or durability.

I have this item along with other Harbor View items in my office. It gives me great space to be able to file what I need as well as some extra book space or decoration space. The item is good quality. There is some very slight damage on some edges but other than that it is a beautiful and sturdy peice.

With that being said, it just took a little team work between my husband and myself to put it together. The danger in ordering online is that you may find a scratch or two, which we did and covered it up with stain marker. I don't have any issues putting furniture together, however I think in the future I'll pay a little extra to have someone assemble it for me or simply find a furniture store that already carries the item assembled.

Love it... great quality for the price. just took my husband about 3 hours to build... not so easy to put together. also, lock isn't that sturdy... if someone REALLY wanted to get in, they could.
