1PC Sentry Safe Fire-Safe Combination Floor Safe

I love this safe and its mechanism. Very solid. I have confidence my items are protected!

Installed new batteries. Combination on the back of the manual does not open the safe.

Highly disappointed. We purchased this safe after the first one randomly reset itself. None of the “tricks” to open it worked and we had to destroy it in order to get our items out. We purchased a brand new sentry safe and it would not open. Again called tech support and followed the instructions-still nothing. Tech support said the safe wasn't reading the code and to take it back. One a positive note, anyone trying to break into the safe will have a huge challenge, especially if it is bolted down.

The only thing I don't like about the safe is that when you program your own combination, you must use five digits. I like using three or four, but it won't allow anyone to do this. Some people also may like to use 10 or 15. There's no reason why they couldn't have programmed the safe to accept more or less digits.

This is a great safe for the money. Perfect size for what I needed. However, when I ordered it (off Amazon) the photo and description said it was black, and it's gray. I preferred black but it is what it is unfortunately. Too heavy to deal with sending back and replacing it. I also thought it had the key lock besides the digital. I looked at so many and thought I chose black and additional keyed entry but it's all good. As long as the digital doesn't go out because how would you get in it without an alternative way?
