SentrySafe SFW082DTB Fire and Water-Resistant Safe with Dial Lock, 0.82 Cu. ft.

It's exactly what it says it is. With people like myself thinking this might be too big or small. It's actually a good size for documents and jewelry/money. If you had all $100 bills. I would imagine you could fit 1 million in there no problem. Anyways, the locking system is great and with the added key lock for if someone by chance knows your code. The only thing I don't like is the key is predetermined for you and you're stuck with that code. But that's ok. It's heavy enough, but manageable for one person to lift and carry it. If you did choose to bolt it down, the water resistance is out the door. Unless you seal it with caulking, I would assume. That should help a bit.

I've seen a lot of mixed reviews about sentrysafe. Some good. Some bad. This safe is a bit smaller than I thought but it does the trick for a first ever safe for me. Certainly big enough to store cash and some valuables. I recently picked up a used sentrysafe that's a bit bigger because I like this one so much. So now I have two. Didn't utilize the floor mounts as I want to keep the waterproofing intact. The only concerning part is having to open the safe every couple months to air it out so it doesn't mold - this is something you don't typically have to do with more expensive steel fireproof and waterproof safes. I prefer the old school combo vs. Electronic. I didn't want to mess with dead batteries or battery corrosion issues over time. I wish sentrysafe would make bigger models with just a combo lock instead of electronic. Overall though both sentrysafes suit my needs and work as advertised.

Love this safe because it is fire and water resistant. It's a great size to fit in the space I have it in. Also like that it uses both a key and combination entry so it's very secure. The exterior material is firm and pretty heaty so tough to move even if not bolted in place.

I only just purchased this safe. I have been researching safes for a couple of months and was quite concerned with the safety features. The electronic locks were the biggest concern then I found this safe with a combination lock and it was fire and water resistant too. I am pleased so far.

This safe is perfect for my needs. It's should and heavy enough not to be easily moved, and it came with hardware for floor or wall screw down. The closure is secure from uninvited entry, and it appears to be well insulated against fire and flood. It appears to be dependable enough to give me peace of mind that my valuables and keepsakes are protected. The size is perfect for me, and the price point was very competitive.
