Sharp - 24" 1.2 Cu. Ft. Built-in Microwave Drawer - Stainless steel

Sharp is disgusting as a brand and as a company. Within 1.5 months this crappy machine stopped working. It has now been 3 more weeks that I have been trying to get it fixed. Amazing how this company's size is only matched by its incompetence.

Great microwave! Sleek and functional. Looks great "closed up" and futuristic when using. Easy to use and looks great in our renovated kitchen peninsula.

terrible product. couldnt be more disappointed. microwave drawer control panel doesnt work and there is no replacement part. microwave is about 2.5 years old and cost over 1200 . ridiculous that Sharp doesnt stand behind its products

This is our first drawer type microwave. It is very convenient for lifting things up out of the microwave as opposed to sliding them out. This is also much safer, especially relating to hot liquids. There are a couple of issues we have noticed. The touch controls are not as sensitive as we would like and the microwave power is lower than previous models we've had. When the microwave is finished with a heating cycle, it beeps frequently and constantly, which is really kind of irritating. Other than these things, we are pleased with our purchase. We'll see how well it holds up over the years.

I really like the design and functions of this unit. However. The keyless control pad failed within the first 3 years. Additionally, the plastic trim of that same panel is poorly made and has come lose and needed to be replaced three times within the first two years. Sharp needs to apply much better quality control in manufacturing (and perhaps designing) that component.
