Simple Designs Basic Metal Desk Lamp with Flexible Hose Neck

when I saw the little box I thought oh no this is too small. but it was not it was perfect because the flexible neck. I use it for my art and my sewing with a hundred watt bulb. my husband has one on his desk too they're great little lamps for a good price.

This lamp is metal, with a sturdy base, has a flexible neck to adjust the lamp and has a push button on/off switch. Great for a desk, a closet, bedroom, den, etc.

So pleased with this good quality affordable and sensible desk lap. I couldn't believe how difficult it has been to find one that isn't complete garbage. This one is made of metal, and appears to be well constructed. It is compact but not wimpy in size, and weighty such that it won't tip over. The gooseneck is also thick and seems sturdy, very flexible for adjusting however you like. The lampshade is thick metal to protect the bulb and the bulb doesn't stick out past the edge of the lampshade. It takes a standard bulb base, I am using an LED bulb to benefit from the energy savings, and that works great. The on-off switch is simple and seems sturdy, located on the base, just push to switch, not one of those twist types positioned at the top of the lampshade that are kinda irritating to use. The plug is also sturdy and a sensibly useful length. Interior of the lampshade is also white, so you get plenty of light, and the light pool spread is very good. For all that, you get a bargain price.

It has a heavy-weighted base that holds the lamp up well, and it has an on/off switch on the base. I find that the on-off switch is very easy to use, and should be easier than using a knob to turn like some have. I also like the fact that it has a pretty big lampshade and can accommodate a 60-watt bulb, as many do not.

I am using this lamp right now . It is just what I was looking for . I kinda wanted a led one but after getting this 1 , I am satisfied. It fits just right on my nightstand ! I would def. recommend this product !
