It's fine in the function that is manufactured for and I really like that I can recharge it instead of creating waste with batteries. Even the renewable batteries are a pain which is yet another reason why I selected this product. The downside is the price for the size of the soap capacity and that you seem to have to use a really watery soap. Another trap to get you to buy simplehuman.

I honestly wasn't sure if paying a premium for an automatic dispenser was worth it, but after using this handy gadget for a few weeks I'm totally sold! There have been enough times where my hands are dirty and not having to touch anything to get soap so that I'm not spreading germs was such a big improvement on manual pump! Plus this thing is clearly expertly built with premium components and a luxury look/feel. Super happy !

You can no longer simply charge the dispenser with your mobile phone cord since they now require a proprietary charging cable. You can no longer see how much soap you have in the dispenser. To dial up or down the amount dispensed is wonky and hidden. SimpleHuman, I love you. Please fix this!

I like the soap dispenser but it is so sensitive if you get anywhere near it it is dispensing soap. I have a pile of soap on my vanity all the time. Don't love that. Not sure how you can rectify that but I can see you will sell a lot of soap the way it currently is. Would not buy again.

I thought I was being extravagant buying this soap dispenser....and I purchased TWO, one for the kitchen and one for the bath. I use “my” liquid soap in each of them. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase!! And every once in a while my arm or hand passes when I don't need the soap..... my Fitbit got a good dose of soap one day.... made me laugh! Very pleased I decided to get these!
