South Shore Tv Stand 50" Havana

None of doors align properly, therefore do not close. We had taken the entire thing apart several times thinking we've messed something up in the beginning, and nope, no success. Decided t keep because it was pain in the butt to take it apart (AGAIN) and drag the whole thing back to the store. Now, the interesting part. The top piece that actually holds the TV (42 lbs in our case) has deformed after few months and looks like it's sinking in in the middle. Back panel came off, because it can no longer be attached to anything. It might look great at first but this is just the matter of time before it starts falling apart, and this is due to less than frequent use. We rarely use doors. So disappointing. Waste of money and time putting this junk together. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I looked long and hard for the perfect TV stand and I must say this one is wonderful! It's very heavy and sturdy but also has style and class. It's even prettier in person than the picture shows on this site. Assembly time took about 2 hours for my husband. He said not hard just a lot of pieces. I would definitely buy this stand again but it seems with the excellent quality I may not ever have to buy another! :)

Great TV Stand. It is heavy and will take 2 people to transport and put together. It was well packaged when shipped. My stand also had a touch-up pen to cover up any scratches. The side doors were a great size to carry DVDs. You should be able to get 24 discs on each side in front. You can store more behind those front DVDs but they wouldn't be as accessible.

I don't know what the other people on here are writing about. This thing was easy to put together, and there aren NO nails near glass. Anyway, It is extremely sturdy! I did have to spend some time aligning the doors, but that is why the mounting brackets are slotted. Any door on any stand should be the same. Again, I think others on here aren't capable enough to assemble legos. The shelves on the sides are the perfect size to house dvd's, but you will have to stack them 3 deep if you have alot so it could be difficult to get them out. Overall, I give it an A+. I just need to find some end tables to match.

Taking our time, my husband and I were able to easily assemble the cabinet. It looks like a nice piece of furniture and our new 37" flat screen tv looks good on it and there is lots of storage and four places to hold good sized components behind two glass doors.
