Behind Cacao, Cafe Vanilla was my second favorite flavor. There were two flavors I could drink daily but Soylent discontinued one and turned the other into an overly-sweet, foul tasting concoction. I'm very sad to be losing my breakfast. Yes, that was also a pun about the taste of this product.
This used to be my favorite flavor and I would drink one for breakfast every day. However with the recent change in taste I won't be getting these any longer as they now taste vaguely medicinal. I've ordered some other flavors in the hopes that they'll be better.
I use these drinks as a backup breakfast. I try to eat breakfast every day, but some days I can't decide what to eat. If that happens, soylent cafe is always the next best choice. I try to make a case last a whole month, but they're so good it's sometimes hard to make them last.
I loved Cafe Vanilla and drank it for both breakfast and lunch for over a year. The new optimized formula has a sickly medicinal quality. After suffering through a week of it, I had to cancel my subscription. I'm heartbroken and I'm not sure what to do.
One of the flavors that isn't unbearably sweet, and the caffeine is nice. I just wish you got a number of bottles in each case that evenly divided the shipping period so I could reliably have 1 bottle per day. 12 bottles/15 days translates to 4/5 stars so that's the score.
