It's ok. Works good for my riding mower. After 20 seconds or so of attempting in 5 second bursts, you can hear the motor cranking slowing down audibly, but then it usually fires. That use typically drains one light off of the fully charged indicator. Didn't work so good on a dead battery in my truck when I left my lights on. Vintage inline 6 cylinder, no power accessories. Wouldn't spin it. The battery was stone cold dead. I charged it and its' held so the cells are good. That bummed me out some. I know when a manufacture states something like 1000/500, what they really mean is 500/350 real world. Sucks but thats how it is. That's weak for most cars, but I figured it'd spin my old truck over 4 or 5 times to kick off with starting fluid. It didn't. It did work on my old lawn mower which was too far away to get to, and I'd thrown my back out trying to push it. That merits 2 1/2 stars. I'm giving 3 because I can't give 2 1/2. The compressor? Mehhh. I didn't buy it for that really, just a novelty feature. But I did put it on my empty air tank, and watched the gauge as it filled it to make sure it functioned. The gauge on the tank redlines at 100/120psi. I got bored and fell asleep at around 20/25psi, soooooo..... Mehhh. Like I said good for lawn mower, or maybe a 14"ish tire OFF the car (no weight to fight) and just enough air to get you home or too a tire store.

I received this 2 days ago and already have had to use it to jump start one of my cars. It worked like a champ. Everything seems to function as advertised, although I have actually used the tire pump yet. It's very easy to use. I'll definitely be taking this along on trips.

This unit seems like it's won't fully charge, its been on charge from Friday evening 24 hours a day and this is Monday evening and the two red lights are on but the green light has never come on. The instructions say to charge for 40 hours on the initial charge however this is longer than 40 hours and no green light indicating a full charge.

This is something every driver should have if ever needed. You don't need to call anyone for a jump, this does it all and very fast. So easy to use, you cant screw up. Use on your car, truck, riding mower, boat, RV, tractor, anything that has a 12 volt battery. The swivel light is very bright. The air compressor comes with several nozzles for inflating tires, balls, bounce house, etc; You can also plug your USB into it to charge your phone, laptop, etc; The battery is fully charged when you see 2 red lights & 1 green light, just recharge it once a month for about 1 hr. and your all set for when you may need it. Very good investment.

I was excited about buying the Stanley Jump Starter with all the rave reviews. I thought it would a great tool to have for keeping my auto tires inflated and jump starting dead batteries. I purchased online and the transaction went great in late July 2014. It came partially charged and I charged it overnight until the battery status indicator showed it was fully charged. I decided to use the tire inflator on August 6, 2014 to add air to the tires of my Ford Focus. I hooked the air connector over the stem of the tire and turned the compressor on. it ran about 3 minutes and the compressor died. I could not get the compressor or the charger to work at all. Tried to recharge it, but it wouldn't charge. I returned it to the local Walmart for a refund. I haven't decided on ordering another one or not. I had no problems from Walmart, but wish it had lived up to all the good reviews.
