Starbucks French Roast Whole Bean Coffee 16 oz Bags - Pack of 2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my sample bag of Starbucks French Roast. I thought it would be bitter. But, it was pretty good. The second pot, I added just a bit less grounds. It turned out better. It is a bit oily and that is the reason for the 4 stars. I would recommend this product for people that like a bold cup of coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starbucks French Roast Dark Roast coffee has a bold, rich, and smooth flavor. It is a good strong cup of coffee which is not bitter. The aroma hits it when opening the bag and stays as it brews. If you like a dark roast this is one for you. #ad #freesample

Overall this looks like cat food and is incredibly wasteful! Even if the cans are “recycle-able” so much of the recycled goods in the US are actually thrown away. It's much better to be forward thinking and create products that worth with us and the environment vs against us. Very disappointed in Starbucks for this product.

This is really not a great idea. It's super wasteful when someone could just buy a bag of coffee and put it in the coffee container that is reusable, washable, and less wasteful and filling garbage dumps with cans. Yes, its recyclable however, even my Starbucks (which has bins that say "recycling" and blue bags we are supposed to use for the recycling bins) doesn't actually recycle. Since we don't own the building, the property manager is in charge of the recycling setup and they have never done it. So all those blue bags of recycling are actually going in the landfill the ENTIRE TIME. Much like these cans. Not everywhere is going to recycle. This is wasteful and not worth whatever the price is just for a novelty of adorable little cans. That's what this really is, a gimmick to sell more.
