To keep the weight down we made it out of industrial grade 6063 aluminum. High quality, super accurate, and lower price Each tool starts from a high quality extrusion, then we add a tough anodized finish to reduce wear, and finally precision mill each edge to exacting tolerances. Whether you're building a new instrument, repairing a vintage heirloom, setting up your shop tools, or tuning up your favorite daily player, this straightedge gives you the biggest bang for your buck possible. Each one is personally inspected before leaving the factory.
