Storkcraft Aspen Changing Table with Drawer White

We received this as a gift and haven't had baby yet to actually use it but so far we really like it! Nice size, lightweight, matches our crib perfectly. The only downfalls are that hubby had some trouble getting some of the parts together by himself and the change pad that comes with it is pretty thin.

The changing table was easy to assemble and is a very nice piece of furniture. The shelves are a little low. I bought one set of baskets (11 inches high) and they would not fit, so I had to buy shorter ones. There is plenty of depth, just not much height.

Love, love, love this changing table... This turned out beautiful when we got it put together. However I would strongly recommend putting it together either on carpet or on top of a soft blanket, we did it on the hard floor in our living room and it did cause the finish to scratch, so apparently it is easily scratched. The finish is also slightly darker than the other cherry furniture we have, but it still looks beautiful and the drawer makes everything so convenient I LOVE THE DRAWER. I am very happy with this changing table, I just wish I would've been more careful putting it together so I wouldn't have scratched it up like I did, but I think it's only noticeable to me because I know it's there.

It was packed well. We started putting it together and noticed that the instructions were hard to read. The instructions showed 8 short bolts and 4 long bolts were needed and that is what came with the table. But to actually put it together, you need 4 short bolts and 8 long bolts, so you will need to order 4 long bolts to assemble it. I could not obtain the long bolts (3/5") from Lowes or Home Depot, so I have to call StorkCraft. They are in Canada and my phone carrier does not have free coverage in Canada, so 10 minutes on hold probably cost me a fortune. I haven't got the phone bill yet. We got the parts and finished assembling it a week later. It looks great, except the drawer slopes on one side.

Once I built it, i noticed how runned down the wood look and how many at stratches it had all over the place! The quality of the wood is not as great as I thought! And I cannot return it because its already built but I'm highly disappointment and dissatisfied withy purchase!
