Storkcraft Beatrice 4 - Drawer Chest

Assemble was extremely time consuming; none if the parts are labeled and very few pieces of the dresser are " real wood." Once assembled, I noticed there are gaps between the drawers; I assume in manufacturing the guides where not lined up properly. Also, the drawers do not slide out very far nor hold much clothes.

I'm pretty handy at putting things together, but the instruction for this dresser are a little vague. After finally getting it assemble, I find that the top drawer with the curved edge does not fit as shown in the picture. There is a large gap on one side, which allows you to see thru the dresser. I was very disappointed, but figured for the price it was okay. Hopefully for my small great grandchildren, it will last awhile.

Site to store delivery was very quick. Two very nice workers loaded it in my car for me. Hubby and I ended up taking over two hours to put it together. The instructions only show diagrams and don't differentiate between the different types of screws very clearly. Be careful to install the drawer guides with them aligned towards the front of the drawer and not the back. In spite of it taking longer than we had hoped to put together, we are pleased with the dresser overall. Fair price, nice smooth finish, sturdy construction, nice color to match the other furniture in the room.

We bought this dresser for our kids room only 7 months ago and are having to replace it. I do not allow my kids to get into the dresser to get clothes so it wasn't as a result of their usage. The drawers cheaply made and the wood kept splitting where the tracks are screwed in; causing the tracks to continually fall off and drawers to sink. We have fixed the drawers and the tracks 3 or 4 times since purchasing and I've finally given up so we have a dresser with all four drawers just sitting on top of each other because the tracks won't stay on when the screws just keep coming loose and falling out. Would never buy this again or another product like it. It's worth paying more money for a solid wood dresser.

You get what you pay for - mostly particle board, a lot of pieces busted in the shipment but Storkcraft makes it easy to get replacement parts. Looks nice from afar and at quick glances, but getting close to inspect it you can tell it's cheap - but we were looking for a piece that we wouldn't feel bad about scrapping in 5 years, which we certainly won't feel bad about not keeping this terribly long.
