Storkcraft - Tuscany Change Table, Cherry

We got this changing table along with matching glider and dresser from Storkcraft. We had no issues with the glider and dresser, but had to return the changing table. One of the pieces was put together incorrectly by the manufacturer which made it impossible to put the table together. It took two weeks to recieve another one and everything was going well until we went to put the drawer in. The table comes with metal braces to screw underneath the changing table and two shelves to make it more sturdy, which is nice, but the tracks for the drawer (which are already attached by the manufacturer) were put too far up and the drawer would not close because it was blocked by the brace. My husband had to drill new holes and lower the tracks so that we could close the drawer. Also, the wood is extremely soft and the top of the drawer was badly scratched when it bumped the metal brace. I was able to touch it up with a stain pen but overall this changing table was a big hassle. It functions well now that it is put together and looks nice with the other furniture but I feel it was far too much work for the price.

Overall the look is nice. The shelves are a bit flimsy but seem like they will hold what they need to. Most of the pieces had a little bit of damage, but once it was all put together it's not noticeable. Directions are a little vague and parts aren't labeled, but overall easy to put together. The wood is between Cherry and espresso in my and my husband opinion, but it matches our crib fine as long as they aren't next to each other. We haven't used it yet since the baby isn't due till mid April, but I think it will do the trick for a while.

I am 8 months pregnant and put this table together all by myself in about an hour. It's a little bigger than I thought it would be, but that's fine with me. I was worried about it being too red because the baby's bedding has red in it, but once I got it in, it's a good dark brown color - very pretty. It seems very sturdy and looks beautiful in the baby's room! I can't wait to use it!

I needed to find something that matched the Dorel Manhatten Crib and this looks like it was made to go with it! Not only was it easy to put together, but it is actual wood (rather than particle board) and very sturdy. The drawer glides effortlessly - you can tell it was made well!

I was impressed with this product because it looks so nice after it is set up! My husband a brother-in-law were able to put the whole thing together in about a half hour. They said they directions were easy to follow, but it's definitely a two-person job if you want to get it done quickly. I have not used the table yet because the baby is not due for another 2 months, so I am not sure how it will hold up from us. I do like the big drawer which is convenient for lotions or t-shirts or whatever you may need when changing the baby.
