SUMMER INFANT PRODUCTS

When my daughter started crawling we (my husband and I) thought we need to get a play pen asap. After looking at several pay pen's I noticed how small they were. I found this playard and thought I would give it a try. It has so much space for her toys and she is safe while I am cooking and cleaning. It cost less then a play pen and I feel better knowing my daughter is safe.

I purchased this item as a play pen for two Pomeranian puppies. For the dollar amount, it was a good value, but I have a couple of criticisms...(1) If set up as a rectangle, it is not at all sturdy. (2) There are two sections (the gate and the opposite side) where the puppies could get their heads through. (3) Don't loosen the section tightening knobs much...They will come off and it's a task to get them back on. All-in-all...a good value for the money and it does work. I think it is not near sturdy enough for toddlers. Pet store products are much more expensive.

I have twin 9 month old grandsons, I bought two and put them together (it's a good thing I have a big livingroom!) It is wonderful, they have plenty of room, they are save and there is more than enough room for the adults to get in to play with them. Best value for the money. Love it!!!!!!

This is a pretty neat gate. It comes already assembled in the box so you just pull it out and set it up. I use it since my 8 month old son is mobile now, so I can get things done around the house without worrying what he is doing, he has his own special play area. I needed to take it apart to set up a special way, and it I have yet to be able to do so. Its EXTREMELY difficult, and we still cant seem to get it apart. I am not sure what I am going to do to add new pieces. Thats the only peeve I have about the product. Other than that, its sturdy, heavy enough to keep baby from moving or lifting, but light enough to move or put away on your own.

I bought this to rein in my one year old daughter, it really does the trick. I can plop her in it and she has room to play and I don't have to worry about what she is getting into. I looked into several different ones and this was the best one for the price. It's actually less expensive than other models and has higher sides. The only problem I can see is that no one I can find locally arries the extension panels and even this site doesn't have them. So I will have to order them direct from the manufacturer. Other than that it's a great product, and honestly I don't really need the extra panels but would like to have them, so even that small problem is no big deal.
