Swanson Pancreatin 4X 375 mg 300 Tablets

I much prefer the NOW brand pancreatin. For me, it's more effective than this 4x offering.

i have had some indigestion for some years, and find that this Prancreatin 4X works real well for me. when you learn that your pancreas works in digestion, you want to do all you can to help it. because you don;t want anything to happen to your pancreas. It is super important in digestion.

This is the best value for the money for pancreatin. Most companies charge twice as much or more. This product is typical of the quality and integrity of Swanson. The formulation contains a generous amount of each digestive enzyme and is an easy to swallow tablet. Swanson is my company of choice and I buy 90% of my supplements from you guys.

Pancreatin is basically pancreatic extract that is high in digestive enzymes (amylase, protease, and lipase). It is always going to be a non-vegetarian product because it is derived from animal pancreases.This is a 4x pancreatin product, which put simply, means it is purified to be four times stronger in enzyme activity than normal pancreatin. So, one tablet (375 mg) is equivalent to 1500 mg of regular pancreatin. This explains some of the numbers that seem funny on the label. If you want pancreatin to work correctly, it should be enteric coated, which means it is coated to be released in the small intestine. Otherwise, these enzymes will likely be deactivated and destroyed by stomach acid. This makes many pancreatin supplements worthless. This formula, however, is enteric coated.And, the price is really good compared to other pancreatin products out there. Once again, Swanson has created a great product!
