If it was possible, I would have given this phone 0 stars. It came quickly and as expected, but when we took it to the Tmobile store to activate it, the clerk very kindly gave us some important information about sidekicks. He said they are like Blackberry's - if you don't have the blackberry service, not all the features work properly. Since the Sidekick service has been discontinued, it is not possible to get the proper service, and therefore your service will be "intermittent." This means, he explained, calls will sometimes go through. Occasionally you will get text messages, etc. Needless to say, the phone is being returned to our local walmart today!

i would not refer this phone to anyone. i bought it online and it had some manufacturing defaults, it would keep on freezing and the power would turn off itself. when i would turn it back on again, all my contacts would be gone. i was not satisfied. don't buy it.

you can't download pictures, or get on the web. If all you want to do is send text messages then this is the phone for you. It does nothing else. You will return it if you get it.

Cant be used on walmart family mobile since they dont have the server for this type of phone nor for blackberries. also isnt android device. dont like the way the screen flips in a circle. it feels cheap. it has awful menus.

i was so happy to recieve my sidekick lx ! i ordered on friday morning and recieved it today !! It came brand new only advice is purchase a sim card and sd card before hand or the phone wont let you save anything ! Only good for texting and calling!
