Tasty 4 Piece Stainless Steel Utility Knife Set, Multi-Color

Need a set of cute and sharp knives but don't need the big block or a bunch of random knives you'll never use? This is awesome for me. A basic set for everything I need. No.fluff just sharp knives. I've used the bread knife only a couple times but the tomato knife and the pairing knife are being used almost daily. They're showing no signs of wear and are just as sharp as they were to begin with. Great colors too.

This set of knives comes with 4 different knives. There is a green paring knife, a red tomato knife, a light blue sandwich knife and a dark blue utility knife. The green paring knife is sharp, but not as sharp as I would like for cutting hard veggies like carrots. I did try sharpening the blade with our knife sharpener but it just did not seem to help. The tomato knife works well for piercing and lifting slices when you want to individually lift slices of tomatoes or other delicate fruit or veggies. The sandwich knife works very well for its purpose. It's wide curved blade works well for spreading and then it also cuts through the sandwich after as well. The utility knife, with its more serrated edge, is my least favorite knife. It is not that sharp and just does not cut as well as the other more expensive knives I own at home. These knives need to be hand washed with warm soapy water, rinsed thoroughly and dried immediately. Overall a good, inexpensive set of knives to have around, just do not expect them to cut as well as some name brand expensive ones.

I really enjoy using these bright, colorful knives! Prior to these knives, I used a knife block set from the same brand and have been very impressed with the quality and performance. What I really enjoy about the block knife set is that it came with a sticker that could be placed on the back of the block for quick reference regarding each knife and it's purpose. On the back of the packaging of this 4 piece knife set is a “know your knife” guide. It briefly explains each knife's purpose. I cut it out and put it in the kitchen drawer with theses knives in case I need to reference it. As far as performance, these knives do their job well. They're durable and built well, and I love the pops of color on the handles! This is a very functional, practical set to have for everyday foods, and the quality makes me confident that these knives will last a while!

The Tasty 4 Piece Utility Knife Set is actually larger than I had thought they would be. From the pictures, I thought they would be the size of a small paring knife but they are slightly bigger which is very nice. I love the soft grips and the fact that they are colored as well. This helps me know which knife I am getting when I open my knife drawer. The red knife is the tomato knife. It has a forked end to make it easy to pick up your slices. It is also serrated to make cutting much easier. The dark blue one is a slicing knife that is good for cutting things like meats. It is also serrated to make your cutting much easier. The light blue one is a sandwich knife. The curved area makes spreading mayo or mustard or any sauce of your choice easy with wide coverage. You can also use the serrated edge to cut your sandwich in half. The green knife is the paring knife. It is for slicing and peeling and the smooth edge makes it so easy to peel your fruits and veggies. the soft grips helps you keep a good hold on your knife so it doesn't slip out of your hand and it is quite comfortable to hold. I have used them all and I am very happy with them. I had been looking at them before now but I wasn't sure if I would like them or not. Sparks gave me the opportunity to try these out and I am very glad I did. They are my new favorite knives now and I would recommend them to anyone. They would make a great gift as well for housewarmings, Bridal showers and Christmas.

This knife also is to be used to cut meats and bread. The knife didn't work well for cutting. It was very difficult to cut sandwiches in half and to cut crust off sandwiches for my little one. It didn't perform well cutting loaves of Italian or French bread. It also includes an avocado knife for cutting avocados and bagels. The handles are solid green, red, teal and royal blue. The knives are easy to hold and handle. They do rust very easily. I used the bread knife and left in the sink. Someone washed there hands after, within a few hours of the knife being slightly damp rust formed. These are to be hand washed with warm soapy water and dried immediately. They include a limited lifetime warranty.
