Tile RE-20002 Sticker Smart Tag, Black, 2 Count

I have purchased several of the other versions of Tiles and have been happy with the products. I was looking forward to using these stickers on our remotes, etc. I have set the volume on loud & tried several ring tones, but the volume is so low that no one can find the remotes, even when we are in the same room and they are laying out in plain sight. Skip this product.

Maybe I'm not understanding how to use this. I downloaded the app on my phone, activated a tile, stuck it to my phone. I press the tile twice and my phone rings. I lose my phone and can't find it because the app is on the phone and the tile is on the phone. So I don't see how this is going to work. I just wanted it so I can find my phone.

I attached Tile Sticker (with a couple drops of super glue) onto the collar of my elder cat. She doesn't veer far from home but it gives me piece of mind knowing where I can find her on the farm. I've been a Tile user for seven years and can't live without them.

The range is really small and it takes a long time to connect. By the time it registered as "in range" I had already found the thing. And when I really lost the thing I never found it again. It's been marked as "lost" for months and no other tile has pinged it so I'm just considering it lost for good. Waste of my money. Probably only good for something like a remote control that gets lost in the couch cushions often or for finding you wallet in a large purse quicker.

App turned off one its own. Lost my phone, fount it the same day, but now through Tile app. When I tried to find my phone with the app, the tracking program hadn't seen my phone for a week - dispite the fact that I sit at my computer, with my phone, every day. The little round disks barely work.
