Turtle Beach - Recon 200 Amplified Multiplatform Gaming Headset for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch - Black

Been using them for almost 2 weeks now and the sounds coming output is amazing, I used to have an old set of turtle beach headset and since I've got the newer ones the volume in them have been amazing. Just like it said in the review before I purchased them, the noise cancelling is amazing.

I got these in November 2018 and for the two years I've had them, they served me well. Pros. -Feels comfortable -Mic quality is alright - Mic sensitivity adjuster is a nice feature -Durable (in some way, see cons) because I'm a clutz and have dropped them here and there Cons. -Mic Sensitivity adjuster doesn't work on PC, only on console. -The cord is a bit short if you're using this for a PC and you scoot around your work area. - This is what led to its death for me. I had them plugged in and the cord was caught on my chair and it was yanked out, but the jack itself was still in the port. Overall, if you want a good pair of headphones for console gaming on a couch or something like that but don't want to break the bank, get these.

I think the sound and general headphone and mic are fantastic. But the plasticity design that goes on the bit right on top of your head has a little plastic pointed part that runs down the centre of the bit on top of your head. I'm bald so, having no hair to rest the headphones on top of, this pointed bit sticks right in the top of my head and hurts after a short amount of time. Making these (otherwise great headphones) unusable for me.

Great sounding headphones, bass is great, build quality is amazing, however there are a few problems. The biggest problem is that you have to charge these up. For wired headphones the last thing you want to do is charge them. Another big problem is that the mic is too sensitive at times, I have had complaints from others that there is an apparent buzzing noise when starting to talk and talking. Lastly I believe they could be slightly louder. They are good headphones but for the price you pay, they could be much better.

Giving this headset 3 star because it has a few niggles that I've found while playing on xbox platform, although it is very very comfy and the sound is great, however the microphone isn't that sensitive to voice and sometimes find myself nearly shouting just so someone can hear me, even after altering settings etc it's no better, another problem is Vocie chat volume it's very hard to control and sometimes hard to hear people talk over game volume, even by adjusting settings etc it's still quite difficult at time, last problem I've received is that sometimes I will lose all sound through the headset even with it being turned on and plugged in it will randomly cut out and it hasn't ran out, but apart from all that it's great value for money on comfort and sound quality alone, think next time I'll buy one abit more expensive.
