UAG - Case for Microsoft Surface Pro, Surface Pro 4, Surface Pro 5, Surface Pro 6, and Surface Pro 7 - Black

The case itself works well to prevent damage when dropped on corners, however when dropped flat on the screen, the case does nothing to protect the device inside. Then there is the stand in the back which slides on a brittle piece of plastic. Twice I have had to replace the entire case because the plastic in the stand broke, and once I had to replace my surface because when it fell flat the screen shattered even though the case was on. I do not suggest buying this model.

This is my second time buying UAG for a tablet device, and I will repeat again next time I upgrade. I am on construction sites and do A LOT of walking and the hand strap is perfect for keeping my tablet safe and easier to hold in the field. This has been the best product I have found on the market for serving its purpose.

I upgraded my surface go to a surface pro. So I'm thinking I need to get a new UAG case because I liked the old one so much. Well what a disappointment that turned out to be. The new one did not have holes to diagonally mount the strap and the keyboard cover latch barely held the keyboard in place. on my very first use I was climbing a ladder and the keyboard fell off, landed in a mud puddle and was destroyed. After a few more uses I decided I hated the thing hanging off both top corners so much I decided to make my own holes so I could hang it diagonal. We that worked for about a week. The drilling of the plastic made the edges sharp so the cut thru the cord for the strap. I finally gave up and thru it in the trash.

Looks cool, works well. The texture is spot on. I like this product a d customer service is excellent!!

Love my UAG! This is my second one on my second Surface Pro in almost ten years. My first UAG made my decision when I got my second Surface Pro. There was simply no other consideration other than had UAG made advances on there own products and do I need it. You can make no mistake with UAG!
