VTech CS6229-5 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone w/ Digital Answering System and 4 Extra Handsets

Purchased this for my mom and dad (70+ years old) and they LOVE it. They have a phone in just about every room in the house. The speaker phone feature on the satellite phones work GREAT, as well as the base speaker phone. Easy to navigate, easy to use and easy to see the caller ID. Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a phone for senior types who aren't tech savvy.

We bought these phone handsets for my grandparents since they're not as fast as they used to be to answer the phone. It was extremely easy to set up. Only one hitch: it was a little difficult to install the battery packs into each handset. It seems like it doesn't fit but if you kinda toggle the plug like a light switch, it will insert easily. Just be careful not to press too hard. Other than that, I HIGHLY suggest this product.

I've always had Panasonic phones but the last 2 cordless units I have bought have not lived up to their previous quality. This Vtech is excellent. The charge lasts much longer and the sound quality is much better than Panasonic, not to mention that the price is much lower.

Great set of phones, I have a set just like this one, I was using another older system with my existing system. I needed batteries for the old system, it was better to buy new phones than batteries. I am using a couple of the new phones I just bought and stored the rest. RJ

I had to replace a cordles phone system I had for ever,matter fact some of the phones still worked,but need atleast 5 phones in the house. Went to my favorite site walmart.com. and saw a vtech crodless phone system(not my favorite brand) but read 75 reviews and all 75 people loved it. So I figured I would try it. Love the phones simple set up/ great sound/ looks good and of coarse the price was exceptional. Now, I like the Vtech now, bought vtech expanable with 6.0 digtal model CS6299-5> And my sister and friend just ordered one.
