VTech Nitro Notebook

This laptop was purchased for a very rambunctious 4 year old boy! I think he has put it through its paces! This laptop is very sturdy. It has been dropped, thrown, and stood up on. All its functions are still working! My grandson loves it. He loves the counting and spelling games. This laptop really engages him.

For the price this is the best product. It has many games and even includes added memory with even MORE games. It acts like a real laptop in many ways and has a lot of added features. After searching around for several weeks this was the best buy for the money.

Okay, so this toy has gotten some bad reviews I see, but let me be one to say, that we have really loved this toy in our home. I originally bought it for my 4 year old and he adores it, as does my 6 and 7 year old boys. My kiddos rarely get to play video games, we don't spend money on fancy gaming systems so they didn't know any different when they saw the screen. I admit, it's a simple screen, that is a little small, and no back lighting, but it does the job. My kids don't mind one bit. My youngest was so tickled with the mouse & Pad, and "real" way the lap top opens...it really is cute! The mouse is detachable but can be used without it, just like a real lap top also which is great. For the money, I think this is a great deal. You get lots of games, and the battery lasts a really long time! Not to mention you can use it with your Vtech adapter. If your kids aren't picky about the bells and whistles of graphics, this is a fabulous learning tool.

We bought this for our 4 yr old son and we are highly disappointed! The screen is so small and very hard to see! I can not even believe the way you have to open this laptop. This was made for young kids, not adults! Our neighbor bought one for their 5 yr old son and they have the same complaints that we do. If the packaging was not already in the garbage I would be returning it ASAP. Our son was so excited to get this and now is just not happy at all and neither are we.

We recently purchased this product for our 5 year old grandson's birthday and had it delivered to his home in another state. it was delivered prompty and turned out to be his favorite toy for his birthday and Christmas as his birthday is a couple of days before Christmas . he loves it and carries it everyway . It was well worth the purchase . Check on other sites and Walmart gave us the best deal for the Vtech and a great delivery charge .
