Whirlpool - 30" Electric Cooktop - Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooktop takes up more cabinet space than expected. Not so happy with the large 2 radiant burner.. There should be distinct markings on the burner knob to warn you that the upper part is 1 radiant... Not happy that you cannot place a utensil that has completed cooking over to a cool burner. (It scratches surface.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced the 15 year old Amana cook top with the Whirlpool. After first use scratches and marks developed on the stove top. It's a scratch magnet. We have been using the factory prescribed cleaning liquid but has no effect. Otherwise, the cook top works great.

It cooks okay and I did not have any problems cleaning it, however, prior to cleaning I noticed that there are 'silver' looking spots on the burners that I've used. These 'spots', which are many are inside and can't be removed. What is this?? and why has this happened? Is the cooktop I purchased defective? I tried to take pictures of these silver looking spots, but because it's a glass top, I only get reflections. Please be in touch with me ASAP. Thank you

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I purchased this in April this year. I am quite satisfied with the product. the dual burner takes a little getting used to. Cleaning requires the use of ceramic cooktop cleaner or there are 'staining marks' where the burners are. Overall happy I purchased it

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Works as expected. Would prefer if the control knobs and cook levels were in a light colour so I can see them against the black surface. Easy installation. Did it myself except for the electrical hook up. heats up quickly too.
