Whirlpool - 4.8 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Top Load Washer with Pretreat Station - Chrome Shadow

I bought this washer 2 weeks ago and I can honestly say it's the worse washer I've ever owned! It's loud and the “sensing” is VERY sensitive. If one-side is off by one item, you will have loads of trouble. Not a happy customer for the amount of money we paid and the problems we are experiencing. We've owned many Whirlpool products and never really had issues, but now is a different story. Very disappointed to say the least.

We purchased our washer 3 months ago, because our other one died. We have no issues what so ever and still learning all the different settings. The best advice I can give is the monthly maintenance of cleaning the machine once a month. As well as, using it as you are able to unload into the dryer. If you do not do these things... your clothes will smell a tad musty and you will have to rewash the load. Lastly, wash things such as blankets and or heavy duty sheets separate from regular clothes. We had a run in with load too many items and the machine stopped mid wash because there were way too many items inside. Best investment ever. Bought this washer after mine unexpectedly stopped working which happened during the COVID crisis so shopped online; read very positive reviews and the size and features were what I wanted. It has not disappointed. Easy to install and set up, very intuitive controls to operate, and our clothes are clean! Replaced an LG that we had for 7 years -first washer delivered was replaced in 30 days; the replacement had an electronic board go within a year and since then has always been very temperamental.
