The14” 40V Lawn Mower with INTELLICUT™ and Mulching Capabilities is packed with technology and doesn’t skimp on power. With two of our 20V 4.0Ah batteries giving it 40V of performance, you get the increased run time and efficiency. INTELLICUT is our patented enhanced-torque technology that lets you dial up more power when you get into thicker grass and then dial it back down to conserve battery when the grass gets easier to manage. It’s a powerful mower that still manages to be energy-efficient. And that’s just where the benefits start. Clean Operation Gas-powered mowers are messy, costly, and can wake up the whole block. Worx battery-powered machines are clean, both to operate and for the environment, cost-effective because the electricity used to charge the batteries costs less than gas, are much quieter by comparison, and start with the touch of a button, not the repeated yank of a cord. 2-in-1 functionality lets you bag or mulch. At only 29 lbs., and with a cutting deck of 14", this mower isn’t hard to handle. It’s easy to zip around landscaped features, yet it’s still wide enough to cut down on the number of passes you’ll have to make on your lawn. The cutting height range is 2.5"-3.5", with 6 positions in-between. And just one lever controls the whole cutting deck, instead of two or four like other mowers, so cutting-height adjustments are quick and easy. This Worx 14” 40V Power Share Lawn Mower will cut up to 1/8 acre on a single charge. With increased performance and modern functionality, it’s a better mower for today, tomorrow, and years to come.

With two of our 20V 4.0 Ah batteries giving it 40V, you get double the runtime and double the efficiency. Intellicut is our patented torque tech that lets you dial up the power when you get into thicker grass and then dial it back down to conserve battery when the grass gets easier to manage. As part of the Power Share platform, it uses the same batteries as every other tool, outdoor power and lifestyle product in that family. It’s a powerful but energy-efficient mower. And that’s just where the benefits start. Gas-powered mowers are messy, costly, and can wake up the whole block. We have other worx tools and needed a small lawn mower for around plants. The grass is thick bent grass. It worked great! Light weight and easy for me to maneuver. It mulched the grass well. Very happy

I bought this Worx WG779 mower to replace an eleven year old 12 inch electric mower. Earlier in the year, I had purchased a Worx trimmer that I am very pleased with, so I thought the Worx mowers would perform well. PROS: Minimal easy assembly out of the box. Lightweight and easy to maneuver in tight spaces. Sweeps clean after use. Battery charges in a reasonable amount of time and battery life is good. Charge indicators are great. Grass bag is sturdy and easy to empty. CONS: Seriously under powered. When the mower is first turned on it runs at a speed I would expect to use cutting grass, however the power level drops after a few seconds. It is much louder than I had expected at the high speed and about the same noise level as my electric mower when running at the low speed. The Worx mower will cut dry sparse grass in one pass, but requires two or three passes on lush grass or in slightly damp spots. The product details state this mower features IntelliCut technology, but there was NO increase in torque when moving the mower from thin to thick grass. The mower did effectively bag the grass clippings. This Worx mower did not even come close to cutting a small lawn as efficiently as my old electric mower, which is on its last legs. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with the Worx WG779 mower and regret the purchase.

I was very happy with this lawn mower. It has adjustable heights and runs well. it exceeded my expectations. I'm using it to clean up around the sidewalk and the small patch in front of the house. I needed it real bad to get around the low hanging branches of my apple trees. It works great!!

I have only used it once so far but I am really pleased with this lawnmower. It's lightweight and is perfect for trimming closely to all of my flower beds!

I wanted a small and light lawn mower. This fits the bill. I dislike how the handles are attached. It takes some time to get the tightness just right and the teeth do not slot into each other nicely. I am worried that over time these plastic parts will snap off.
