Easy installation. Light is great on it. The DVD player makes a noise sometimes. And it replays stuff over and over. We bought this bc it was one of the cheapest overhead dvd players we found. It works it's just not the best.

So far I've purchased two of these DVD players. They both have worked great. As a few others have said, the remote doesn't work as good, but once you understand the controls on the player, making adjustments isn't hard. It either plays through the car radio via the radio transmitter or through the wireless headphones...which I HIGHLY recommend getting. They have great sound and work great. It also doubles as a CD player which is nice for me since neither one of the vehicles had a CD player. In terms of installing, I did it myself. I left the dome-light alone and ran two new wires for the DVD player. It took me 4 hours to install the first one altogether (including teardown of the interior and reassembly). The second one only took me two hours (It was an identical vehicle so I knew what I was doing and where to hook it up). It looks factory once installed. Downsides: It wasn't as flat to the ceiling as I thought it would be. The screws that hold the DVD player to the mounting bracket were too short so I replaced them with other screws. The latch that closes the DVD player to the ceiling when not in use doesn't work well. but it's not a big deal as the screen stays up with the heavy 'spring'. Overall a great value. By the way, I highly recommend picking this item up in store. I purchased the second one to be delivered to my house, all Walmart did was grab it and slapped a shipping label on the box. So everyone knew what it was when they left it at my front door. They didn't even use any extra tape to hold the flaps closed.

Very happy with this dvd player. Well worth the price and the quality is great. Easy to operate but would definitely recommend having it professionally installed as it has to be wired into the vehicle. Had my father wire it into our minivan today and our boys love it.

EASY INSTALL BOUGHT 3 FIRST ONE DID NOT WORK AT ALL 2CD ONE PLAYED 10 MINUTES AND STOPPED READING TRIED SEVERAL DVD'S WENT AND BOUGHT A NEW DVD IT PLAYED FOR 35 MINUTES AND KEEP STOPPING EVEN WHILE NOT DRIVING JUST PUT IN THE 3RD PLAYED ONE OF THE DVD'S THE OTHER 2 WOULD NOT SO NOW IT IS WAIT AND SEE.

This thing is garbage, I am having it uninstalled and returning it today. It wasn't hard to install, but the darn thing, you put the dvd in and I waited 13 minutes for it to keep saying that it is reading the dvd and finally it would start the movie. The remote that came with it worked for about 2 minutes and i guess the battery is no good that came with it. JUNK JUNK JUNK
