XOVision XO1930 Car Video Player

its an awesome deck and i like the features, but the deck will blind you at night even in night mode it lights up my whole car when im using my usb mode the blue background you cant change. its only got a 3 band EQ and high and low adjustments so you have no mid control so that annoying for sound quality. its got great features for the price and you can change the background when your using the radio, i would highly recommend a dark picture. iv tryed to play with brightness settings but then it throws off the movie picture (the dvd quality looks great) so i left is alone. and another disadvantage is the front 3.5mm jack for mp3 players, its and audio video jack. but for my ipod 4th gen i plug the wire in my ipod but plug it into my deck and only one side of sound comes out unless you pull the plug out of the deck just a little bit but other then those down falls its a great deck for the price.

it is a great radio but it does not read the newer software for ipods so you have to plug it in the aux port instead of the usb port...also you have to make a ground connection to play dvds other wise it will not let you...besides that it does every thing else great.

I purchased this deck in a rush cuz i lost the face plate 2 my old one and it was a pretty good price 4 a screen deck with a dvd player, but thats y u should always go with quality over quantity. First the audio is bad my pioneer deck had better sound quality,second it takes a long time 2 load up,third the interface is very plain and boring and the text is 2 small,fourth the deck turns off everytime u start ur car and u have 2 turn it back on,the aux cable that comes with it doesnt work 2 well. I could keep going on about da flaws but if u want a quality deck i suggest spendin a lil more money n buying a better brand such as pioneer

I returned this unit after 2 days of use! PROS: + Fairly easy install + Sound quality/power is great! + Cheap CONS - The text on the screen in extremely small and hard to read. - Glossy screen makes it even harder to read in daylight - Could not display the clock while playing a CD - Aux input was very crackly when connected to my iPod using the included cable - Many controls required the remote - Remote is huge and has too many buttons that are all the same shape and size. - Sub-woofer output was a single mono RCA and didn't include a splitter cable (my amp has a L/R input)

I bought this based on most of the other ratings. Once I got it, and had it installed, the AUX plug was defective. If plugged all the way in only the right speakers worked, when I pulled the plug out just a little both sides worked, but the sound quality was terrible! So, I had them send me another one, that one also had a defective AUX plug. I was really hoping the 2nd one would work b/c overall I did like the radio, but I'm returning this one, and will not be buying another Xovision brand. I'll stick with the known stuff for this sorta thing!
