Your Baby Can Read Ybcr 1

I bought this for my 8-month old daughter for her to get used to some words. I follow the "NO TV" rule for kids under 2 years so, I did not let my daughter watch the DVD. I looked atthe video and it was quite boring wherein its tough for babies at this age to sit through and pay attention to the DVD (even if she had watched it) I liked the concept of sliding word cards which was the main reason to buy this. For $10 you just get 5 cards (teaching 10 words) and a DVD. I wouldn't mind paying a few more bucks if it had the flap book / parent guide. My baby liked the pictures of babies only on the sliding cards but wants to chew on them :) ( I am not sure if she understands the picture of nose) Overall, I like the cards and the idea of teaching babies words w/ pictures but am yet to get the confidence that it still works. And the product could have come w/ more flash cards / flap book.

My 8 month old and 2 year old love this DVD. I can show it to them and my two year old is already interacting with what he sees on the t.v. My 8 month old loves the nursery rhymes. This is a great alternative to mindless television. The flash cards are a great learning tool. I plan on getting the entire set this month.

We purchased this for our 7 month old grandson. It keeps his attention and he loves it! He especially likes the songs. The video is entertaining and educational for babies.

Our little one is 22 months and I decided to purchase Vol 1 & 2 to see if it was as good as advertised. So far he seems to be interested in the video and loves the flash cards for Vol 1. We've only used it for 2 weeks so at this point we don't know if it works.

I like the way the set it up. I got all 5 and the price through walmart was awesome I would not have been able to afford otherwise
