Great idea. Tent forms one wall. Easy to get in and out of the tent without getting wet. Set up camp under my easy-up. Made a wet weekend camp trip great. Loved it. (Sorry I didn't get a picture of the tent and top, but dinner was slowly smoked pork chops on the open fire. Grabbed them from Wal-Mart on the way there.)
Used these tents with the 10*10 ozark trail canopy for a recent camping trip...set up was simple, packed back into original bags easily!! Withstood 20+ mph winds like a champ!! Great product for the $$$!
An under $40 tent? I did not exactly have high expectations. It turned out much better than I could ever have hoped for. For starters, I do not have an Ozark Trail canopy. I have another brand with an easy-up style system. Fortunately, the connections still work with a few minor modifications. I have included photos that show how we connected the tent to the canopy frame. I will add rings into the upper two corners of the canopy and to the bottoms of the legs to make it easier to connect the bungee cord clips. The pictures show that you can connect without the modifications, but adding the rings will make it easier setup. The interior provides ample space for a queen size mattress with enough room on all sided of the mattress to move around. If you are six foot tall, the tent is not quite tall enough for you, but it is meant for sleeping and not for milling about. The overall construction is good as well and the seams on the fly are factory sealed. We like it enough that we picked up a second one for the other side of the canopy. For under $40, you can't go wrong!
We love the connect tents. Purchased two.
This tent is super easy to set up with our straight leg 10x10 canopy. The set up is super simple and so is packing it up. We love the skylight windows in our tents. We fit 2 people in each tent. They will fit a queen size mattress, so I dont think its accurate to say it will sleep 4 people. You could fit 4 adults but only if those 4 people dont like elbow room and space for their belongings. Im so happy with our purchase and I would definitely recommend.
I truly love this tent! A complete upgrade to beach camping. We can take this anywhere! I would advise putting something in the corners when setting it up to get the floor lined up right with the stakes. Also, the tent is thin so we put a separate tarp which provided wind support and more shade. Absolutely a win. I now want to upgrade to a queen mattress. I had so much space to put all my items. Money well spent.
Bought two and took them on a 3-day camping trip in Florida. Quick and easy to assemble. Works great! Withstood a heavy rain in heavy humidity with no seam sealer and didnt leak at all. Great for family camping.
Bought two of these tents on whim because I was sick of the complicated tear down of other tents. We had a Coleman tent but after one of the joints broke I found out Coleman does not sell replacement parts for their tents. These tents exceeded my expectations. My 1st time using them we had a torrential downpour at the campground. I practically had a stream running through my site. These two tents stayed dry inside. Even the wind could not knock it down. I plan on buying a their one tomorrow. You can go wrong with these.
Great tent for the money. Super easy to set up. The only negative I see so far is the bottom is very thin and a small twig was able to poke right through
We purchased 3 of these tents and an Ozark trails 10x10 pop up shade tent. To get the connect tents to spread all the way out we did have to play with the height of the 10*10. Set up was super easy we did put everything together and get it how we liked before staking the tents down. So we could the bottom to spread out all the way. We had our 3 teenage sons in one, 2 more sons and a dog in one and my husband and I in the third. It stormed (5 inches of rain, trees fell, power was knocked out at campground) while we camped and these did leak a little especially at the seams. I highly recommend spraying them with waterproof spray. The way we had our air mattress one seam dripped on my head and the other my feet. I just put a towel over each and went to sleep. Considering the severity of the weather a small drip didn't seem that bad. The tents are light, east to put up, easy take down and put away. The windows let in air nicely, we had a hook for the tent light. The shared area in the center was a nice place to store gear, sit and talk, take off dirty shoes before entering the tent, etc .. we also got tons of compliments and questions on the set up everyone thought it was super cool.
