I love this rotary shaver. It has very flexible shaving heads that glide well and adapt to the contours of my face. I feel a very smooth and close shave and I didn't have to put much effort even on my problem zone: my chin dimple. The pop-up trimmer is a practical add-on to quickly groom sideburns and cut hairs around my ears. It works also well on my eyebrows. Yes, my eyebrows can get bushy over time, that's why I appreciate having a trimmer on hand to carefully cut my eyebrow hairs to a "civilized" length. Cleaning is quick and easy as it is washable. I prefer electric shavers that can be washed. It's more hygienic and ensures I don't shave with dirty blades. I always rinse my shaver after each use to ensure peak performance. What's not that important but I noticed is that the shaver doesn't weigh a lot, it's quite light. Yet, it's big enough and I can hold it comfortably. The body feels study and durable. The battery life is good. However, there's no quick charge option, so I always make sure to charge my shaver . I have been using my Remington R4000 Series Rotary Shaver for about a week, and so far I'm impressed with it. One charge lasts me an entire shave, with time to spare. It gives me a clean, close shave, without irritating my skin. It is easy to clean afterwards because it's waterproof, I just rinse everything off under the faucet. I normally am a dry shaver but I did use this rotary razor wet to test out both functions. I found out it works great both ways. I really like that the heads of this razor glide over my skin giving it a smooth, clean and close shave. I have sensitive skin and I love that I have not experienced any skin redness or irritation after using this rotary razor. The pop-up trimmer is a nice feature. I can easily keep my sideburns looking trimmed and neat. I usually get about five days of daily use before I have to recharge. A nice basic razor. Uses the rotary heads which I've used before. Was easy to use, just had to charge it up when I received it. Have been using on and off for the last week. Gives me close shave, is very light, and the head flexes as I need. It's nice because it's a wet/dry shaver, even though I primarily use it dry. I don't even know where to begin with describing how great this shaver is! My neck has never been this smooth with no irritation before. I have very thick facial hair that has always made shaving a tedious task, but I actually look forward to shaving with the Remington R4000! The trimmer is another awesome feature, it allows me to precisely trim lines and cut hairs shorter rather than fully remove them. I have used this 4 times so far and haven't had a single ingrown hair or razor bump, which was always an issue for me in the past. It's lightweight, totally portable and very easy to clean and maintain. The battery is phenomenal, it charges fast and holds the charge for a long time. I've had this shaver for a week and a half now and really enjoy it. The stubble clip works great for giving yourself that perfect stubble look. Using the stubble clip is especially handy when you don't want to do a full clean shave but want a quick cut back with an even appearance. The shaver motor is also quiet which I really appreciate when shaving by my ears or using the flip out trimmer to clean up my side burns. The R4 Power Series Rotary Shaver was not powerful enough for my needs. I have thick coarse facial hair and didn't do the job for me personally. The pop out trimmer did not work well. I like to go up and down with the trimmer but it collapses when going upwards. I wish it had a way to lock in place while in use. Traditionally rotary shavers have not worked well for me and this was no exception. I used it both wet and dry and found it gave the better result when used dry (pictures shown) I did like the stubble attachment. Bought this because the box said wet or dry..the book doesn't say that. Double checked everything and even the model on the box is a dry only. Very Unhappy.
