This is my second baby so we already had a stroller, but this time simple and easy is what I am going for and I was not about to lug around the regular stroller and carseat and my 5-year-old and baby so I had heard of these and searched on Walmart.com and found this one. Love it because it is light weight, EASY, big basket for the diaper bag. I don't have one of the recommended carseats that is made to fit, but my Chicco Keyfit fits great and with the bright red strap it definitely stays in place. People comment on it where ever we go because it is definitely awesome and has padded handle and tray for your drink, keys, phone, whatever. We have had it when we drop off at preschool, high school basketball games, art show, muddy parking lot, mall, it's all good! Congrats on your babies!!!
My wife and I recieved this stroller when our daughter was born 3 1/2 years ago. We did not have it on our registry (we had an expensive, heavy stroller), but a friend of mine, who already had kids, sent it to us. This has been the best gift. We had another child early last year and we still use it today. The expensive stroller was too heavy for my wife to lift into her car, especially after having the baby, so we started using this stroller. It has been very durable and would recommend that every new parent put this on their registry. You wont be sorry.
I love this stroller!! We had an old model of the Snap'n'Go which we tried to replace with the new version, but we didn't like that the carseat was balancing on two little pegs instead of a bar like it used to. We also looked at the Graco version, but had similar concerns about safety. The Kolcraft version is wonderful - I especially love the big basket. The only negative I can think of is sometimes it's hard to fold up because the sling in the middle gets caught, but that's easy to fix when you're not in a crazy hurry!!
I read the other reviews before purchasing this product. I didn't have a Graco car seat, which some seemed to have problems with when fitting it into the stroller. I have a Evenflo Discovery car seat for my child, and it easily fit but didn't attach to the bar. The red straps secured the car seat well, and off to the mall we went. There is ease of mobility and folding up using one hand. I like that the strap that holds it together when folded is bright red so I don't waste time trying to find it. Since I didn't purchase a new infant car seat with the "system" approach, I'm glad this product is available. And I don't have to try and fit the car seat into a regular stroller, which is always a wrestling match. Nor do I have to get my child out of the car seat to put them into a stroller. So, it's the best of both worlds.
This car seat carrier is wonderful...we purchased it for the Chicco Key Fit 30 even though the Chicco people said it wouldn't work...it fits perfectly. I use it every day when I take my older child to school so I don't have to lug the carseat around, as it is quite heavy for me...it sets up in seconds and pushes with ease...highly recommend this product!
I know lots of websites make the comment that this is not made for the peg pergo viaggio car seat and that is the one that we have. I have tried it out and not only does it work it seems very durable and safe. I love the HUGE under basket that has plenty of room for your diaper bag and several purchases. Also it can collapse using only one hand. THat was a huge plus for me!! Overall I would recommend this to anyone who is seeking this type of stoller. I compared this to many others and would choose it over all the similar strollers.
I was looking for a carrier to fit into the trunk of our car with ease but not take it over. I looked at several models and this was the one with the largest basket for the best price. When I purchesed I did site to store which is a great feature that worked very well! There was a little assembly but its not hard. When using it I can set this up myself and even though the carseat doesn't click in (wasn't on the universal list) the strap works pretty well to hold it in place. As a use everywhere stroller it doesn't move well through gravel and dirt but in stores and on pavement its great. My baby will be 4 months old at the time we need to fly for a trip and we feel that this will be of great use to us then. When she out grows it a friend of ours already has ask us to let her use it!
it was very easy to put together but doesnt fit all carseat like it says!!! i have 3 different carseats and not 1 fit this carrier!!!
I thought this product was good for the most part. When unfolding the frame the basket would get stuck on the screw for the latch that locks the frame closed. It was very frustrating when trying to unfold it with one hand. I gave the frame away and plan to buy the brand that goes with the carseat when I have my next baby.
We bought this because it said it was universal and would fit our carseat, but it does not. THIS STROLLER DOES NOT FIT THE BRITAX COMPANION INFANT CARRIER. I wish it had, because it looks and works great other than that.
